Stehekin
Stehekin is located in the heart of the North Cascades at the head of Lake Chelan. This unique valley is accessible only by boat, air, or foot.
The River
The Stehekin River is home to rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and brook trout. The river is a unique fishery with trout up to the 20-24 inches. Guided trips float the Stehekin River in Dave Scadden pontoon boats, providing access to rarely fished waters.
Alpine Lake Fishing
Just a short hike away, fish for brook trout in an alpine lake. This is a popular choice during May and June when the Stehekin River is too high to fish. Not only does this trip boast great fishing, it also provides you with a breathtaking view.
The Guide
John Wilsey grew up fishing the Stehekin River along with the many small streams and alpine lakes. He built his first fly rod when he was fifteen years old and has been hooked on fly fishing ever since.
In 2010 John realized a life long dream when he founded Stehekin Fishing Adventures. John and his family have called Stehekin their full time home since 2003.
See you on the river!
